The Dax peloïd

Found no place else on Earth, the Dax peloid is a thermal mud produced when Adour River silt comes into contact with hyperthermal water and is matured over a prolonged period of time.

It is one of the oldest matured products used in balneology.

This contact between the two elements allows a special flora to develop. The sun's rays also encourage the growth of algae, which is what makes matured products original.
